Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate must be:

• Passionate about the coffee
• Have a demonstrated ability to make exceptional espresso-based
• Energetic and friendly while able to provide impeccable customer
• Confident communicator who is able to remain calm under
• Self-motivated and efficient in time
• Ability to work both within a team and
• Excellent all-rounder working as part of the catering

Experience:

• Coffee preparation and service: 3+ years (Required)

Certification:

• A Driver’s licence would be an
• Certified Barista training would be an advantage.

Language:

• English to a high standard (Required)

Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties will include barista work in a busy coffee cart, using the till, working on point of sale at the same time as maintaining impeccable customer service, doing stock take and placing orders. In addition you will assist the Tuckshop Manager with a range of duties including but not limited to managing the stock of the vending machines, assisting in the preparation of food for the tuckshop, setting up of cutlery and crockery for school functions.

The ideal candidate will be expected to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. They must be able to reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; be able to multitask quickly and efficiently; be reliable and open for flexibility towards the role and have great time management skills.
