The Role
As our Motorbike Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to clients in and around the Brackenfell area, making deliveries on behalf of our branches, and transporting items between our branches. You will be the face of our pharmacy on the road, so a friendly attitude and professional appearance matter to us. When you are not out on deliveries, you will assist the team with other tasks to keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver packages safely and on time to clients in the local area
- Make deliveries on behalf of our branches
- Transport packages and items between our branches as required
- Handle all deliveries with care, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Represent the pharmacy in a friendly and courteous manner with every client interaction
- Keep accurate delivery records and obtain any required signatures or confirmations
- Assist with general tasks such as packing, shelf stocking, stock receiving, and other duties when required or during quieter periods
- Help keep the delivery motorbike clean, fuelled, and well maintained
- Follow all road safety rules and pharmacy procedures
Requirements
- A valid motorbike licence (essential)
- Own reliable transport to and from work (a delivery motorbike will be provided for the job itself)
- Well presented, neat, and professional in appearance
- Friendly, approachable, and client focused
- Fluent in English (essential); the ability to speak Afrikaans would be a strong advantage
- A willing, can-do attitude with a readiness to help with other tasks when needed or when idle
- Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
- Good knowledge of the Brackenfell and surrounding areas would be beneficial
