The Impact You’ll Make
As a Parts Counter Person, you’ll be the go-to expert for both our service team and retail customers. You’ll help keep repair jobs moving smoothly, ensure customers get the right parts the first time, and contribute to the overall efficiency and reputation of our dealership. Your attention to detail and product knowledge will directly impact customer satisfaction and loyalty.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers—both in person and over the phone—with parts inquiries and orders.
- Identify, source, and provide the correct Ford OEM parts using our inventory and ordering systems.
- Support service technicians by ensuring timely delivery of parts to the shop.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, returns, and special orders.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock counts, and help keep the parts department organized.
- Stay up to date on Ford parts catalogs, technical bulletins, and product updates.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service that reflects our dealership’s commitment to excellence.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in an automotive parts role (Ford or dealership experience a plus).
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency with parts lookup systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
