THE ROLE

Marie Stopes SA is recruiting for Contact Centre Agents with background and experience within the Medical Aid Scheme environment.

The key objective of the role is to identify and understand client needs and deliver first class client service in an omni channel Contact Centre environment – voice/WhatsApp/email/social media.

A key success measure will be the ability to assist clients with bookings and facilitate the payment process for services offered by Marie Stopes South Africa.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Empathy and Professionalism: Ability to remain compassionate, calm, and courteous in a fast-paced multi-channel environment
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate intricate medical scheme terms clearly.
  • Multilingualism: Fluency in multiple local languages (e.g., English, Afrikaans, isiXhosa and other of the other official SA languages) is a requirement of this role.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • You are Pro-choice.
  • Education: National Senior Certificate
  • Experience: 5+ years’ client services or contact centre experience (Inbound and Outbound) in a Medical Aid scheme or healthcare environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy, proficient typing and report writing skills, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant healthcare regulations, guidelines, and compliance protocols, as well as privacy laws like the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

WORKING HOURS

Monday to Friday

07:30 – 18:00

Saturdays

08:00 – 13:00

Fixed salary + Incentives
