Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Admitted Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, immigration law, and landlord-tenant law.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, wills, trusts, and other legal instruments with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients or the firm while maintaining a focus on favorable outcomes.
- Manage case files efficiently within the law office’s administrative systems, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and resolve legal issues promptly.
- Support ongoing legal research efforts by analyzing statutes, regulations, case law, and relevant legal precedents to inform case strategies.
Skills
- Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction with a valid license as an attorney.
- Strong knowledge of diverse legal fields including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, immigration law, and landlord-tenant law.
- Excellent research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for in-depth legal analysis.
- Proven ability in legal drafting with attention to detail for contracts, pleadings, briefs, and other documents.
- Effective negotiation skills to advocate for clients or the firm’s interests successfully.
- Experience with legal administrative tasks such as case management and document organization within a busy law office environment.
