Job Overview
Precision Appliance Leasing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team in Farmers Branch. The Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance processes, and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining general ledger accuracy
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for management review
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Maintain accurate accounting documentation and records
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting procedures and controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of financial concepts like debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Experience with ERP/accounting software such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-entity or corporate accounting environments
- Prior experience supporting audits and financial reporting
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually
