INTERMEDIATE-SENIOR PHASE (GR 4-7) EDUCATOR POST
The Governing Body (GB) of Kenwyn Primary School (KPS) invites passionate and dedicated individuals for the position of Educator (Intermediate-Senior Phase) to join our dynamic and creative team.

- Contract Duration: April-December (renewal subject to performance and institutional requirements)
- Position Type: Full-time post available from 01 April to 31 December 2026
Minimum Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification in the Intermediate-Senior Phase (Gr 4-7)
- SACE registration (or proof of application)
- Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with CAPS
- Ability to inspire creativity and develop learners’ artistic skills through a variety of media and techniques
- Strong classroom management and organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to contribute to the broader cultural and co-curricular life of the school
- Excellent command of English (HL)
- Clearances: Clear Criminal, National Register of Sexual Offenders and Police Records
Responsibilities
- Experience teaching Intermediate-Senior phase subjects (Gr 4-7)
- Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning
- Delivering curriculum-aligned lessons effectively
- Commitment and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the School
- Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Participating in extracurricular activities and school initiatives
- Attending meetings, forums, and workshops for the grade/phase as required
- Responsible for all school equipment and stock in the control of the teacher and class
- Managing, planning and promoting teaching and learning within the class
- Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Word etc.)
- Solid time management skills with an ability to prioritise work
- Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills
- Friendly attitude, willing to learn and help others
- Punctual
- Good work ethic
Note
Contracts are offered on a fixed-term basis and are reviewed annually in line with performance evaluations and organisational needs
