Workshop Foreman Jobs in Montague Gardens at Dals Group
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy automotive panel shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient workshop productivity, maintaining high-quality repair standards, managing staff, and delivering exceptional customer service while meeting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations and staff.
- Monitor repair progress and repair, inspect completed work, and resolve technical issues.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate workshop personnel, and communicate with customers or management on job progress.
- Maintain strict quality control procedures to ensure repairs comply with OEM, manufacturer, insurance, and company standards.
- Conduct final quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and safety-focused working environment.
- Monitor workshop efficiency, productivity, labour utilisation, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Prepare and present operational and performance reports to Directors.
- Maintain discipline and lead lead the workshop team
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ management experience within an automotive panel shop.
- Proven experience in a workshop environment, including supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of workshop equipment and repair/maintenance processes.
- Good communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Valid drivers licence.
Computer literacy and the ability to complete reports and manage work schedules.

Pay: R11 926,20 – R47 733,74 per month
