We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Welder to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal products according to specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
– Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
– Weld metal components together using various welding techniques
– Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
– Troubleshoot and resolve any welding issues or defects
– Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
– Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while performing welding tasks
– Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects on time and to client specifications
– Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Certification in welding or relevant vocational training
– Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Welder in an industrial setting
– Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Proficient in using hand and power tools
– Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
