Welder Jobs in Mkondeni at Dhoda Group
We are currently seeking experienced Welders to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out welding, fabrication, and repair work on vehicles, trailers, equipment, and various steel structures while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform COâ‚‚ (MIG) welding on steel components and structures
- Operate cutting gas torches safely and effectively
- Carry out fabrication, repairs, and modifications as required
- Read and interpret basic drawings and measurements
- Repair damaged trailers, vehicle components, and equipment
- Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow workshop safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Assist with general workshop duties when required
- Report material requirements, defects, and equipment issues to management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder
- Experience with COâ‚‚ (MIG) welding is essential
- Experience using cutting gas torches is essential
- Ability to fabricate and repair steel structures and components
- Good understanding of welding safety procedures
- Ability to work from measurements and basic drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, diligent, and safety-conscious
- Welding qualifications or certifications will be advantageous
