Job Summary
The water treatment Engineer will be involved in design of process and mechanical system related to water/wastewater treatment system in current projects, development of proposal and future projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Water balance calculations
- PFDs and P&IDs
- Pipeline sizing
- Process design calculations
- Various mechanical design calculations
- Water treatment plant process/mechanical drawings
- Power plant cycle chemistry design
- Design review of vendor submittals
- Preparation of technical specification and tender documents
- Technical evaluation of offers
- Process selection studies
- Techno-economic studies
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical (Power).
- Post graduate studies is plus
- 3– 5 years’ Experience in mechanical systems design.
- Familiar with relevant industry codes and standards affecting design drawings for designated discipline
- Understands basic design interfaces and technical responsibilities of other disciplines
- Knows how to interpret information on engineering drawings from other disciplines
