Essential Functions:

The responsibilities below for the laborer position shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

· Performs snow removal, grass cutting, grass trimming, painting, power washing, and general maintenance of the WTF;

· Responds to emergency maintenance call-outs as needed;

· Performs prevented maintenance, work, and minor repairs to equipment;

· Complete construction projects at the WTF;

· Performs other duties as needed to ensure that the WTF is properly maintained;

· Performs custodial work at the WTF;

· Performs other work-related duties as assigned; and

· Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Knowledge/Skills:

· Ability to operate a variety of light to heavy equipment;

· Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions;

· Willingness and ability to perform manual work as directed by Facility Operator;

· Some knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in the construction industry;

· Ability to recognize work safety hazards and properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE);

· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing;

· Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely;

· Ability to take direction on projects and follow through to completion;

· Ability to meet attendance requirements and performance standards with dependability and consistency; and

· Must be able to work effectively, individually, in a team environment, and support others as needed.

Required Certification/Other:

· Possession of valid Pennsylvania driver’s license;

· Serve as a member of various employee committees as assigned.

· All other duties as assigned by the WTF Director.

Pay: From $22.69 per hour
