Warehouse Supervisor Jobs in Benoni, Gauteng 1501 at ME Elecmetal Prima Manufacturing
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor and manage warehouse equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to optimize warehouse operations.
- Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order fulfilment, and staff productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels for various items and components.
- Report on the aging of stock.
- Identify obsolete stock and follow process to dispose of obsolete stock.
- Manage the issue of protective clothing.
- Contribute to the adoption of new procurement processes.
- Manage stores layout and stock layout throughout the foundry.
- Monitor internal sock requests and ensure approval is in place.
- Inspect goods received and agree quantities to delivery notes, sign for accurate delivery of goods.
