Summary:
Retail Storekeeper responsible for managing store inventory, receiving and issuing merchandise, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring products are available to support daily retail operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining an efficient stockroom while supporting the sales team and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming merchandise against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Organize and store products efficiently to ensure easy accessibility and proper stock rotation.
• Issue products to the sales floor and replenish stock as needed to maintain product availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's ERP or inventory management system.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and store teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Ensure the stockroom is clean, organized, and compliant with company health and safety standards.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged, expired, or slow-moving items to management.
• Assist in periodic and annual inventory audits.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure efficient stockroom and inventory operations.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
• 5 to 6 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Stock Controller, Inventory Clerk, or in a similar retail inventory role.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and retail store operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English language skills.
