Warehouse Manager Jobs in Durban at Swiss Build
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the handling, storage and distribution of goods
- Maintain strict controls over stock levels in order to meet internal and external demands
- Plan warehouse space accordingly
- Conduct cycle counts and stock takes
- Identify discrepancies between stock records and take action
- Assist with receiving and checking of all deliveries from suppliers (internal/external)
- Lead and manage a team
- Co- ordinate with other departments
- Develop policies and procedures for warehouse activities
- Ensure health and safety standards are met
- Establish, monitor and maintain high standards of security
- Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained
- Maintain a clean and tidy work enviornment
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Minimum 4 years working experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Planning and Organising
- Energetic, confident, presentable, self-starter who works well independently;
- Possesses exceptional attention to detail and is committed to delivering quality output.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R25 000,00 – R30 000,00 per month
