Role Overview
We are recruiting a Warehouse & Logistics QA Supervisor to maintain quality control and chain-of-custody integrity at the inbound and outbound stages of the supply chain. This role is a critical control point — ensuring that goods in storage and transit match production records and that the integrity of shipments is maintained from factory handover through to container departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inbound inspection of goods received from production facilities
- Verify outbound shipments against production records, packing lists, and contractual specifications
- Inspect pallets, packaging, and labelling for accuracy and integrity
- Monitor storage conditions and environmental controls
- Implement and verify anti-tampering and access control procedures
- Manage and document chain-of-custody from production handover to container sealing
- Supervise container loading and verify seal numbers against documentation
- Conduct inventory reconciliation and escalate discrepancies
Requirements
- Background in warehouse QA, logistics management, or supply chain compliance
- Experience in high-value goods, government, or contract logistics environments preferred
- Strong understanding of chain-of-custody documentation requirements
- Familiarity with container loading procedures, seal verification, and export documentation
- Proactive approach to identifying and controlling substitution and tampering risks
Additional Notes
This role carries significant supply chain integrity responsibility. Candidates must be process-driven and experienced in high-accountability logistics environments.
This role is based in South Africa. Successful candidates will be required to travel to and deploy at international manufacturing sites as directed. Travel, accommodation, and deployment costs are covered by the employer.
Pay: R20 000,00 – R50 000,00 per month
