The Warehouse Administrator will provide efficient and effective administrative, clerical and support services within the warehouse environment, ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing and smooth day-to-day administration.

The role is responsible for invoice administration, petty cash control, payroll and time-and-attendance support, record keeping and general warehouse administration to enable effective operational performance.


What you will love doing in this role

Warehouse administration

  • Provide efficient and effective administrative and clerical support to the warehouse team
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and filing for warehouse administration processes
  • Support the Warehouse Manager and Distribution Administration Supervisor with daily administrative requirements


Accounts and invoice administration

  • Accurately code all invoices and ensure correct allocation
  • Submit invoices for payment on a daily basis
  • Keep copies of all authorised invoices and supporting documentation


Petty cash and payroll support

  • Obtain approval for expenditure before payment is made
  • Maintain the petty cash analysis book and support accurate petty cash control
  • Ensure time and attendance documentation is submitted to salaries as required


What you’ll need to do this role

  • Matric Certificate / Grade 12
  • Administration or Secretarial Certificate would be advantageous
  • At least 3 years’ administration experience
  • At least 2 years’ financial administration experience
  • 1 year’s warehouse or distribution experience, or 2 years’ retail experience
  • Sound Microsoft Excel experience
  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Prepared to work weekends and overtime when required
