Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver professional food and beverage service to executives, clients, and visitors. Prepare and set up executive dining rooms, boardrooms, and meeting venues. Serve meals, refreshments, and beverages according to service standards. Ensure all dining and meeting areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready. Assist with the preparation and presentation of catering functions and special events. Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, and service protocols. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and requirements. Monitor stock levels of beverages, cutlery, crockery, and hospitality supplies. Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with executives and guests.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and grooming standards. Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and maintain service excellence. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Flexible approach to working hours when required for meetings or special events.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Waiter in a corporate, hospitality, hotel, executive dining, or fine dining environment.
