VOIP support agent – Junior – to grow into voip specialist Jobs in Cape Town at VOIP
Assisting customers with technical issues, setting up phones, offering remote support, configuring call routing on a PBX.
This is a junior position but with the correct aptitude can grow into a more senior role quickly.
The ideal candidate would:
– Have an innate interest in IT in general
– Have a reasonable understanding of networking
– Have a reasonable understanding of VOIP protocols
– Be fast with typing on a keyboard
– Be prepared to educate themselves on the various technologies used to become well versed in the various technologies within 6 months.
– Be able to self-educate through research and applying the knowledge gathered
Some knowledge of Linux would be helpful but is not a hard pre-requisite.
While education in an IT field is an advantage – a lack of that can be compensated by demonstrable skills in the field obtained through experience as opposed to formal education. A matric certificate is a minimum requirement though.
Pay: R8 000,00 – R15 000,00 per month
