About The Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic South African English accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.
This is a contract role involving a small number of focused, in-person recording sessions. Your voice will be used to help AI systems better understand natural human speech — not for voice cloning.

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational South African English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker recordings and dual-speaker dialogue sessions
- Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue that feels unscripted and natural
- Follow light direction on tone, pacing, and delivery to capture a range of speech styles
- Bring your authentic South African English accent to every session
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with real recording experience
- A native or near-native South African English speaker with a strong, authentic accent
- Comfortable performing natural conversational dialogue — not just scripted reads
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
- Fluent in English at a working level for clear communication on set
- Currently based in South Africa
Nice to Have
- Acting or performance background
- Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or prior studio recording
- Comfort with both solo performance and dynamic back-and-forth dialogue
