Role Overview
One of our clients is seeking a highly creative, efficient, and growth-minded Senior Video Editor to join our team their team. In this role, you will be a core production engine for our agency, taking raw footage and turning it into high-impact, cinematic short-form content that converts viewers into clients. This is a full-time, high-volume remote role tailored for an editor who thrives under pressure, possesses a strong artistic eye for modern digital aesthetics, and excels in a fast-paced "workaholic" agency environment. You will be reporting directly to our operations team and editing content for our diverse roster of creators and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Volume Output: Edit and deliver a minimum of 6 polished short-form clips per day without compromising on quality or stylistic integrity.
- Dynamic Editing: Craft highly engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) utilizing advanced transitions, seamless sound design, talking-head styling, and cinematic pacing.
- Asset Management: Implement visual hooks, text animations, captions, color grading, and audio enhancements to maximize audience retention.
- Brand Alignment: Review internal creative inspiration/guidance and follow strict client briefs to ensure every piece of content matches the distinct tone and style of individual brands.
- Collaboration & Optimization: Receive feedback from management and implement quick turnarounds on revisions to keep up with tight posting schedules.
Must-Have Requirements
- Proven Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating advanced proficiency in short-form video optimization, talking-head style editing, visual storytelling, and kinetic typography/captions.
- Speed & Stamina: The ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, output-driven environment while hitting strict daily deadlines.
- Advanced Technical Skills: Master-level command over industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Bilingual Capability: Fluency in both English and French is highly preferred.
- Infrastructure: A high-spec editing workstation capable of handling quick rendering times, paired with a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
