SUMMARY:
Our client, a premium automotive dealership, is seeking a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and warranty work in accordance with manufacturer standards while maintaining high levels of workmanship and productivity.
POSITION INFO:
Description:
- Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles.
- Conduct advanced diagnostic testing and fault-finding on vehicle systems.
- Complete repairs efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications and workshop standards.
- Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with Jaguar Land Rover manufacturer processes and procedures.
- Use diagnostic equipment and technical information systems effectively.
- Ensure all repair orders and workshop documentation are completed accurately.
- Identify and report additional repair requirements to the Service Advisor or Workshop Controller.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Motor Technician (Red Seal or recognised automotive qualification).
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified technician.
- Proven diagnostic and fault-finding experience.
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet productivity targets.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Previous experience working on Premium vehicles.
- Experience within a premium or luxury automotive dealership environment.
- Familiarity with Jaguar Land Rover diagnostic systems and manufacturer processes.
