Vehicle Estimator Jobs in Brackenfell at Dals Group
The purpose of this position is to assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate quotations and costings, and provide professional client and stakeholder communication throughout the repair process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assess and quote vehicle damages against provided or requested quotations
· Determine whether parts should be repaired, replaced, or substituted with aftermarket spares where applicable
· Take vehicle photographs and upload documentation onto TMS, Abuntex, and related systems
· Generate claims and costing reports, including final costings and additional damage assessments
· Source and confirm parts pricing with suppliers and agents
· Determine market-related repair costs and ensure accurate pricing adjustments
· Process claims, update systems, and maintain accurate file documentation
· Communicate with clients regarding quotations, repairs, and repair processes
· Handle complaints, queries, and interaction with internal and external stakeholders
· Monitor work in progress and assist with assessment coordination
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Matric / Grade 12
· Minimum 5 years’ experience as an estimatimator
· Experience within a panel shop or automotive repair environment
· Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and parts
· Experience with Abuntex, TMS, and or similar estimating systems will be advantageous
· Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-handling skills
· Good administrative, analytical, and time management abilities
· Customer service orientated with strong attention to detail
