SUMMARY:
Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for the delivery of stock using a vehicle from the fleet. NOT limited to this. The position is available in Newton Park.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a delivery driver.
- Must have a valid SA driver's license.
- Must have a valid SA motorcycle license.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations.
- Valid South African ID.
Responsibilities:
- Will entail the following essential functions and duties:
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses, through different routes and time schedules.
- Follow routes and time schedule.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle / motorbike.
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints.
- Comply with the company vehicle policy.
- Collect payments.
- Complete logs and reports.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
