Position: User Interface Design (UI) / Communication Design Internship
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual design intern focusing on User Interface Design (UI).
Remuneration
Usually not, but negotiable if the applicant’s skills are at an advanced level (NB: This does not apply to international applicants. By law we cannot remunerate international interns.)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Design of Graphical User Interfaces for touch screens and mobile apps
- Working closely with interaction designers and programmers
- Create basic interactive prototypes
Prerequisites
- Student of one or more of the following subjects:
Graphic design/communication design, Multimedia design, User Interface Design, Interaction Design - Attention to detail
- Interest and passion for User interface design
- Computer literate
- Sound knowledge of the English language
- Portfolio presentation
- General knowledge of design processes and tools
Experience with one or more of the following software tools
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- After Effects
- Premiere
- Flash
- Unity 3D
- Dreamweaver
Minimum of 3 months engagement required.
