Duwalcoe is looking for a dynamic person, who is passionate about customer service and wants to grow their career in the Insurance Sector. Being an underwriter requires a sharp mind, with a passion for delivering excellent work.
We need an additional underwriter to work with our team to handle the client relationship after a policy has been written.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Policy Amendments
- Renewals
- Alternative quotes
- Customer retentions
- Handling unpaids
- Responding to client and broker queries
- Maintaining accurate policy records
- Ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and insurer requirements
- Fast and accurate turnaround times for customer requests
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Short Term insurance (Underwriting / Claims / Broker)
- Computer literate (MS Office applications in particular)
- RE5 Completed
- English and Afrikaans proficiency
- Strong verbal, written and in-person communication skills
- Like working with a team
- Sense of humour is crucial!
