Underground Plumber / Mini Excavator Operator – New Construction
Pay Range: From $20/hr – $30/hr (Based on Experience)

Ridgeway Plumbing is looking for skilled, hard-working individuals who know their way around underground plumbing systems AND mini excavators.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate mini excavators to dig trenches for plumbing systems
- Install underground sanitary, storm, and water piping systems
- Read and follow plans, layout, and elevations
- Ensure proper slope, depth, and alignment of pipe systems
- Perform manual digging and trench work when needed
- Set and connect underground plumbing lines
- Maintain job site safety and follow excavation regulations
- Work alongside Foremen and crews to complete projects efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in underground plumbing OR pipe installation
- Experience operating a mini excavator (REQUIRED or strongly preferred)
- Ability to read plans or willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in outdoor construction environments
- Comfortable with physical work (digging, lifting, trenching)
- Team player with a good attitude and willingness to grow
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Work outdoors in heat, mud, and active construction sites
- Bend, dig, climb in and out of trenches
