Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Tube Bender Operator, where you’ll play a vital role in shaping precision metal components used across various industries. Duties
- Operate tube bending machinery, including CNC-controlled tube benders, to produce precise bends according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up and calibrate equipment such as press brake machines, CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications, and technical diagrams for accurate fabrication
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Use forklifts to move raw materials and finished products within the workspace
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to safety standards and product specifications
- Set-up and operate CNC tube cutting equipment
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience tube bending aerospace parts
- Experience working with close tolerances
- Experience working with Inconel, titanium, aluminum and stainless steel
- Bend Pro G2 controls
- Experience with tube bending machines .250 to 3.0" tubes
- Techno Industrial Tube Bender
- Eaton Leonard Semi-AutoMatic Bender
- Pines Tube Bender
- Lewis & Clark Manual Bender
- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min
