Overview:
We are seeking a grounds person/tree trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in physical labor and have the ability to operate equipment such as chainsaws, chipper,Avant, lift, and skid steer. This is an outdoor position that requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work at heights, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
We are willing to train the right individual with pay negotiable based on experience.
Drivers license with clean driving record and ability to pass drug test REQUIRED!
Duties:
– Clearing brush, operating an Avant, operating a lift and operating wood chipper
-Trim and remove trees to maintain a safe and visually appealing landscape.
– Operate aerial lift equipment to access trees at heights.
– Maintain and operate various tools and equipment, including saws, chippers, and rigging equipment.
– Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
– Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and objectives.
Experience:
– Proven experience in tree trimming, pruning, and removal.
– Familiarity with aerial lift equipment.
– Strong knowledge of rigging equipment and lift operation.
– Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment.
– High school diploma or equivalent required.
– Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour
