The successful candidate should possess;
· Ensure that the Branch operates in accordance with all current applicable legislation, rules and regulations
· Ensure that the Branch operates in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, and Internal Control Procedures
· Ensure that the Branch operates according to the highest possible standards, in keeping
· With its objective to become the market leader in South Africa
· Responsible for on-job training for new staff in Treasury
· Ensure compliance with all FICA Internal rules
· Responsible for the preparation, issue and control of floats and the issue and control of relevant keys
· Responsible for the reconciliation, safekeeping and banking of cash
· Ensure that clearance is conducted in terms of Internal Control Procedures
· Ensure an understanding of the RGS system and that soft counts are conducted in terms of the Internal Control Procedures
· Responsible for record keeping of overall cash of the Branch and such other functions as required or prescribed by Management or the Internal Control Procedures
· Deputize for the Cashier in his/her absence and undertake related responsibilities
· Responsible for assisting with the administration of the gaming and catering department
