Mindset is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to lead and coordinate our training programs/projects.
Position: Training Officer
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in designing and implementing training programs based on client needs.
· Organize and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and events.
· Support the development and preparation of training materials, handouts, and resources.
· Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with the Training Manager.
· Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and feedback.
· Provide logistical support, including scheduling, venue preparation, and material distribution.
· Assist in monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness through surveys and reports.
· Research and identify new training opportunities and market trends.
· Collaborate with the team in preparing proposals for potential clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Education, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a training or learning and development role, preferably in a consultancy setting.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering successful training programs.
- organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
- Proficiency in additional Ethiopian languages (e.g., Afaan Oromo, Tigrinya, Somali) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of training tools, e-learning platforms, and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in proposal writing is a plus..
