Training Facilitator – Health & Frail Care Jobs in Stellenbosch at Bergzicht Training & Development
INDEPENDANT CONTRACT : 8th MAY until 27th AUGUST
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction: Deliver training on core modules including basic anatomy, health – wellness and ethics, multi-disciplinary primary health care, palliative care and dementia care.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to learners throughout their 20-week journey.
- Assessment: Assessment of full POE with formative and summative assessments. Evaluate student progress in practical tasks performed on campus and in the Workplace Integrated learning space.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification: Registered Professional Nurse (SANC) or a relevant qualification in Nursing/Healthcare with significant frail care experience.
- Assessor Status: Assessor Training at ETDP SETA (ETDP) is essential for this role. Candidates must have assessor accreditation with HWSeta.
- Experience: Previous experience in facilitation and clinical supervision is highly advantageous.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans is essential.
- Personal Attributes: Exceptional patience, empathy, and a passion for community upliftment.
Required Minimum Qualification: Applicant must have grade 12 and registered SANC nurse.
Required Minimum Work Experience: Must have at least 5 years experience as a registered Nurse. Trained subject matter Assessor and previous skills training experience is an added advantage. Driver’s License with own transport is essential. Responsibilities: On-campus accredited training to groups of 12 learners per group according to QCTO standard, including both theory and practical training, visit learners during practical training in the workplace, assess and oversee completion of Portfolios of Evidence until graduation of each programme.
