Description
As a Trainee Area Manager, you will take ownership of a group of stores, driving sales performance, operational excellence, and team development. You will play a key role in strengthening Footgear’s regional presence and ensuring consistent delivery of our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive turnover growth and achieve regional sales targets
- Lead, motivate, and develop Store Managers and their teams
- Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards
- Execute merchandising strategies and maintain brand consistency
- Manage stock control, shrinkage, and asset protection
- Build strong succession pipelines and support talent development
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture across the cluster
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a multi-store retail management role
- Proven track record in driving sales and operational performance
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
- Availability to work on weekends and public holidays.
