Job Description Summary
Trade Execution Coordinator – planning, capturing daily loads and communication to customers and internal role players . This role may require performing functions in addition to those associated with his/her own position.
Minimum qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
5 years’ experience in a similar role
Exposure to the Food/Feed/Agri commodity sector will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
Excellent Microsoft Excel proficiency
Good communication skills
Fluent in English and in Afrikaans languages
Role & Responsibility
Contract Management ( Purchases & Sales )
Planning delivery in collaboration with the logistics team
Booking of trucks to offload at Standerton Oil Mills
Daily precise capturing of data, loading & offloading info.
Send data for invoicing promptly and accurately in alignment with the contract payment terms
Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain a good relationship with customers
Effective communication with all stakeholders
Daily reconciliation on contracts
Resolve all customer queries as quickly and efficiently as possible
Backup for Logistics
Daily / Weekly stock releases to ensure availability of commodities and loading allocations
Weekly slot planning per silo/farmer to align with customer demand
Weekly planning to be sent to all transporters per contract
Coordinate with transporters to ensure timely pickup and deliveries
Book trucks for loading and offloading
Skills, Knowledge and experience
Proficient excel skills, good communication
Systems savvy, and/or experience using ERP systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service orientated
The ability to be proactive and work under pressure.
Ability to prioritise effectively, with excellent time management skills.
Problem solving and driving actions plans
Good interpersonal and organizing skills.

Reports to the Trade Execution Controller.
Salary is market related basic salary with provident fund and medical aid benefits
Specific overview of role
This role requires a high level of administration. Majority of the admin work is compiled on Microsoft Excel and exported to a complex integrated ERP system.
Daily and consistent liaisons with customers regarding requirements, planning, offload points, stock levels, delays at offloading point etc.
Daily and consistent liaisons with logistics. Narrow line between Execution and Logistics – your demand is what they must supply.
Collaboration with various departments, specifically traders re customer requirements; Invoicing and Contract & Inventory desk.
Consistent communication with the customer, occurs after hours, on weekends – with transporters and shipping ports.
Fast paced, high pressure work environment.
