JOB PURPOSE

The Total Production Cost Controller is responsible for preparing, validating, and monitoring Total Production Costs (TPC), standard costs, and part of industrial off-standard budgets. This role supports decision-making by providing accurate financial forecasts, variance analysis, and action plans to ensure alignment between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepare annual budget of Total Production Cost, Standard Cost and Part of the industrial Off Standard for MEA Region.

* Develop monthly best estimate forecasts and periodic updates such as Forecast 1 (3+9), Forecast 2 (8+4), and Want to be.

* Manage all reporting deliverables to central and regional teams, adhering to strict timelines and accuracy standards, on TPC MEA, Transformation Cost MEA and Part of the Off Standard.

* Track and analyze monthly total production costs and off-standard actuals, explain variances with prior year, prior month and Budget/Forecasts.

* Validate TPC and standard costs within pricing system for vehicles across the MEA region and ensure part price and vehicle price robustness.

* Analyze and resolve some accounting discrepancies related to part price changes.

* Lead or participate in cross-functional workshops and task forces aimed at optimizing product costs and ensure convergence to Budget or official forecasts.

* Improve controlling processes to increase operational efficiency and accuracy.

* Lead the transition of new cars TPC management from project phase to manufacturing.

COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Engineering.
  • Work Experience: Proven experience (3–5 years) in industrial controlling, cost management, or financial analysis.
  • Language: Fluency in French and English.
  • Preferred Skills & Abilities: rigor, analytical and synthesis skills, problem solving, attention to details.
  • Personal Traits: ease of communication, cross-functional collaboration, curiosity
