Key Responsibilities:
Operate conventional lathes and milling machines
Interpret technical drawings and manufacture components accordingly
Work from samples when required
Maintain accuracy in tolerances, speeds, and feeds
Use measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met
Follow safety procedures and workshop best practices
Minimum Requirements:
Matric with relevant machining or engineering qualification
Trade Test or Red Seal advantageous but not essential
Proven experience on conventional lathes is essential
Milling experience highly advantageous
Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances
Able to read and interpret technical drawings
Good communication skills and reliable work ethic
Ability to work independently and within a team
