Tile Setter & Tile Helper – South Bay & Peninsula Full-Time | High-End Residential Work
We’re hiring for two positions to support our growing installation crews across the South Bay and Peninsula. Whether you’re an experienced Tile Setter or someone looking to break into the trade, we want to hear from you.
We work with top general contractors on high-end residential projects and take pride in clean, detailed work — no production-level shortcuts.
Work Locations
- Current projects: Los Altos, Menlo Park, Palo Alto
- Ongoing work throughout the South Bay and Peninsula
- Ideal for candidates living in the South Bay or Peninsula
- Work hours are typically 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
Position 1: Tile Setter $30–$45/hour depending on experience
Scope of Work
- Install tile on floors, walls, showers, and exterior surfaces
- Surface prep: waterproofing, leveling, layout
- Execute clean layouts and precise cuts
- Deliver high-quality finishes in client homes
- Maintain a professional, organized jobsite
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years tile setting experience (not helper-level)
- Strong layout, prep, and finish skills
- Able to work independently or with a crew
Position 2: Tile Helper $20–$28/hour depending on experience
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the trade and grow into a skilled Tile Setter over time.
Responsibilities
- Assist Tile Setters with installation work
- Move and stage materials, tools, and supplies
- Mix mortar, thinset, and grout
- Help with surface prep, jobsite setup, and cleanup
- Support cutting and layout work as directed
Requirements
- Some tile or construction experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Requirements for Both Positions
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to lift 50–80 lbs regularly
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must be able to commute daily to South Bay and Peninsula job sites
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be I-9 compliant
