Temporary Project Administrator Jobs in Somerset West at Interfront SOC Ltd.
1.Project Support
- Provide administrative and coordination support to Project Managers, ensuring alignment to PMO processes and timelines.
- Distribute weekly status reports to the client and relevant stakeholders.
- Create new projects on Jira and M-Files for assigned projects, ensuring all artefacts and workflows are initiated correctly.
2.PMIS Administration & Governance
- Allocate project resources on the Project Management Information System (PMIS) in line with approved project cost estimations.
- Update and maintain all project master data for assigned projects on PMIS, including (but not limited to status, type, program etc.).
- Ensure that all financial information for assigned proposals is correctly captured, updated, and continuously maintained on PMIS.
- Create, update, and manage invoice records on PMIS and monitor alignment with project financial controls.
- Review project information regularly to ensure they remain accurate, complete, and compliant with PMO governance standards.
- Identify and correct data gaps, inconsistencies, or misclassifications to maintain a clean and audit-ready PMIS environment.
3.Document Management & Governance
- Ensure all assigned projects meet PMO governance requirements across PMIS and DMIS.
- Manage project contract documentation and statuses across PMIS and DMIS, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Work Orders (WOs), Change Orders, Exco Memos, and Completion Certificates
- Maintain correct document flow, version control, and distribution for all contractual and governance documents.
- Create overtime claims on the DMIS for relevant project resources.
4.Governance Assurance
- Monitor compliance to PMO standards, ensuring project artefacts, workflows, statuses, and documentation adhere to required governance processes.
- Ensure PMIS and DMIS entries remain accurate, up to date, and audit-ready.
Education & Experience
- Matric / Grade 12 (NQF 4) mandatory.
- A relevant certificate or diploma in Project Administration, Project Management, Business Administration, or IT is advantageous.
- 2–3 years’ experience in an Administration Support role, preferably within a software development, IT, or technical project environment.
- Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) and supporting multiple Project Managers simultaneously is advantageous.
- Exposure to SDLC processes, project governance frameworks, and cross-functional project environments is advantageous.
