Position: Telephone Sales Representative (FULL-TIME) – Talent Pool
POSITION OVERVIEW
Telephone Sales Representatives – Cape Town, ZA

In this role you will engage with prospective and existing customers over the phone to identify needs, recommend solutions, and close sales while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make and receive customer calls to promote products and services.
- Build rapport and establish trust with prospective and existing customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Explain product features, benefits, and pricing clearly.
- Overcome objections and confidently close sales opportunities.
- Accurately document customer interactions and sales activities.
- Meet or exceed individual sales and performance targets.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay current on promotions.
- Follow all company policies and compliance requirements.
- Participate in regular coaching sessions and sales training.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and persuasive selling skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to multitask while navigating multiple systems.
- Goal‑oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a performance‑driven environment.
Preferred:
- One year of inside sales, retail sales, customer service, or contact centre sales experience.
- Experience working with sales metrics and performance goals.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
- Must be willing to submit up to a Level II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary, required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset, regularly operate a computer and other office equipment (phone, copier, printer), and may occasionally need to move about the office, reach in any direction, and lift or move objects up to forty (40) pounds.
