Position Summary
This role is responsible for defining, developing, and maintaining the Technology Architecture domain in alignment with the TOGAF framework. The ideal candidate will ensure that the organization’s infrastructure, platforms, and technical services support current and future business needs, while aligning with enterprise-wide IT strategy and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Technology Architecture aligned to TOGAF principles, focusing on the Baseline and Target Architectures.
- Translate business and IT strategy into technical solutions, ensuring integration with Application, Data, and Business Architectures.
- Evaluate and select hardware, security, and network technologies to meet current and future enterprise requirements.
- Define principles, standards, and guidelines for technology platforms, tools, and infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Security Architects, and Infrastructure teams to ensure cohesive architecture execution.
- Create architecture roadmaps, reference models, and solution patterns to guide implementation teams.
- Support technology lifecycle management, including emerging tech assessments and technology decommissioning strategies.
- Provide architecture governance during solution design and project delivery phases.
- Lead or support architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Align technology architecture with enterprise concerns such as scalability, reliability, interoperability, and security.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience (3+ years) in technology architecture or infrastructure architecture roles.
- Deep understanding of TOGAF framework, especially the Technology Architecture domain.
- Strong knowledge of technology platforms including (OpenShift, Kubernetes, etc), networks, servers, databases, and middleware.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns, microservices, containerization, and virtualization.
- Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Solid understanding of security architecture and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
