Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Trainer role based in Algiers. The Technical Trainer will design, develop, and deliver technical training programs focused on AI-related tools, platforms, and workflows for startups, project teams, and community members. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, creating learning materials (presentations, manuals, lab exercises), and facilitating in-person workshops, bootcamps, and hands-on sessions. The role also involves evaluating learner progress, collecting feedback, and continuously improving training content and formats. The Technical Trainer will collaborate closely with the incubator, coworking, and immersive space teams to align training initiatives with DjazairIA’s innovation goals.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Technical Training and Training & Development, with experience designing and delivering structured learning programs.
- Proficiency in Technical Trainers and Training practices, including needs assessment, curriculum design, and learning evaluation.
- Excellent Communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience or strong interest in AI, data science, or related technologies, preferably within startup or innovation ecosystems.
- Ability to create engaging, hands-on training materials and use modern learning tools and platforms.
- Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and comfort working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English and French or Arabic is highly beneficial.
