Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Techncial Supervisor to supervise and coordinate all technical maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the client’s facility. Deliver preventative and reactive maintenance in line with SLAs and Tsebo SHEQ standards.

Duties & Responsibilities


Operations

  • Allocate and supervise daily work for artisans, handymen, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and plan corrective actions.
  • Oversee maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure all planned and reactive tasks are completed timeously.
  • Run toolbox talks, equipment inspections, and enforce OHSA compliance.
  • Maintain organised workshops, stores, and maintenance records.
  • Monitor inventory and request materials when required.
  • Support technical projects and upgrades.

Service Delivery

  • Maintain strong client relationships and uphold client house rules.
  • Keep accurate documentation: warranties, licences, drawings, and reports.
  • Manage contractor and supplier performance. Perform standby duties and respond to call-outs.
  • Ensure monthly tool and safety inspections are filed in HSE records.

Customer Focus

  • Respond to client queries and escalate when needed.
  • Promote a customer-focused culture within the technical team.
  • Resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Reporting

  • Submit weekly/monthly reports to the Hard Services/Technical Manager. Ensure Help Desk updates are completed and outstanding calls monitored.

Skills and Competencies


Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use maintenance tools.
  • Basic welding skills (TIG, MIG, Arc) advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Trade Test (Electrical, Mechanical, Millwright, or equivalent).
  • CMM or similar (advantage).
  • 4–5 years maintenance experience
  • 2–3 years in a supervisory role. Experience with HT/MV switchgear, generators, HVAC, plumbing, VSDs, and central plant systems.
  • Knowledge of OHS Act and technical safety requirements.
