Position: Technical Sales Manager (Steel Body Manufacturing, Truck Body building)
Established Johannesburg-based manufacturer of steel bodies and related equipment seeks an experienced and driven Technical Sales Manager to lead and grow sales operations
Minimum requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Sales Manager in the steel body manufacturing, truck body building.
- Strong knowledge of products such as Tipper Bodies, Water Tankers, Drop Side Bodies, and Vacuum Tankers
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth
- Manage and expand existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports
- Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the manufacturing and transport sectors
