DS HOME is looking for a powerhouse Technical Office Engineer to serve as the heartbeat of our wood factory operations in Cairo. We are looking for a "process driver"—someone who understands that great furniture begins with a perfect plan.
The Role: The Bridge from Design to Production
You won't just be sitting behind a screen; you will be the catalyst for the entire factory workflow. Your mission is to translate high-end design into flawless execution through technical precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Readiness: Transform architectural concepts into detailed, production-ready Shop Drawings.
- Factory Documentation: Create precise Cutlists and Work Orders that optimize material yield and guide the assembly team.
- Software Mastery: Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp to model furniture and solve complex joinery details before they hit the floor.
- Process Ownership: Drive the manufacturing process by ensuring the factory floor has every measurement, material spec, and hardware detail required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a professional woodworking or furniture factory environment.
- Tech Skills: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and SketchUp.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of wood materials, hardware integration, and factory manufacturing processes.
- The "Driver" Mindset: Someone who is organized, proactive, and obsessed with 1mm accuracy.
