R20 000 CTC per month
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ technical buying experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in mining equipment, vehicle manufacturing, OEM, or industrial equipment sectors.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs
Key Responsibilities
- Procure mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Convert engineering requirements into purchasing activities within the ERP/MRP system.
- Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, and performance.
- Ensure material availability to support production schedules.
- Expedite critical items and support inventory planning.
