Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Technical Assistant to support workshop and onsite operations. The successful candidate will assist qualified technicians, maintain workshop cleanliness and hygiene standards, support technical projects, and ensure efficient handling and delivery of equipment and parts.
This role is ideal for an individual with technical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn within a technical and industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize UHT packaging machines using approved food-grade cleaning products in line with safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping always
- Clean, inspect, package, load, and unload machine parts and equipment safely
- Assist qualified technicians with workshop and onsite technical tasks and projects
- Deliver parts and equipment to customers professionally and timeously
- Support stock control and organization of workshop parts and equipment
- Compile accurate project and service reports
- Follow all company and client health and safety procedures and regulations
- Perform basic maintenance and general workshop support duties as directed
Minimum Requirements:
- N1 – N6 qualification (Trade Test not required)
- Approximately 3 years’ technical experience
- Basic understanding of workshop or industrial environments
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings
- Computer literacy
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards
- Ability to travel to different sites

Pay: R9 000,00 – R11 000,00 per month
