We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teachers Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a positive classroom atmosphere, assist with lesson implementation, and help meet the diverse needs of children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to the growth and well-being of every child in our care. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in developing and executing age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social skills.
- Support children’s individual learning needs by implementing strategies for students with disabilities or developmental delays, including those with autism or who require Deaf education services.
- Help manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
- Facilitate communication using American Sign Language when appropriate, promoting inclusive interactions among children with diverse needs.
- Provide attentive toddler and preschool care, including supervising activities, assisting with potty training, and supporting early childhood development milestones.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with teachers on IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals and assist in adapting curriculum for children with special education needs. Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism or developmental delays, is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy or math education for young learners.
- Demonstrated communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
