Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a dynamic portfolio of tax clients, including individuals, companies, and trusts.
- Lead the charge on SARS engagements, including audits, objections, and dispute resolutions.
- Supervise, mentor, and (vibe-)check the work of junior staff and trainees to ensure quality.
- Oversee and innovate internal tax processes and controls to keep the department running smoothly.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Relevant Degree in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance.
- 3+ years in a tax environment with a proven track record of managing client portfolios.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SARS eFiling is a must.
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).
- SAIPA or SAIT registration is a major plus.
