SUMMARY:
An experienced Tax Accountant is sought to join a dynamic organisation within the Cape Town region. The role is responsible for managing tax risk, overseeing tax reporting and ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise in tax calculations and practical experience engaging with tax authorities, auditors and external advisors. A thorough understanding of tax legislation and regulatory requirements is essential. The role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to operate within a compliance‑driven environment.
POSITION INFO:
Tax return preparation, reconciliations and support
Corporate tax, provisional tax
Calculate tax provisions and deferred tax
GL accounts for accuracy
Reconcile tax accounts
Manage discrepancies
Assist with audits and tax queries
Skills & Experience:
Local tax legislation
Qualification:
SAIPA/CIMA or BCom Accounting
