Core Responsibilities:
- Install, monitor, and execute repairs on various site surveillance systems.
- Troubleshoot and conduct routine fault-finding inspections on hardware to detect malfunctions.
- Execute physical cable installations and seamlessly connect surveillance devices.
- Verify the daily operational status of all CCTV cameras and promptly escalate any non-conformances.
- Supply accurate footage evidence to assist internal departments with security investigations.
- Uphold strict workplace hygiene, occupational health and safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A valid National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- A minimum of 1 year’s working experience operating within a technical environment.
- At least 1 year of practical, hands-on exposure to surveillance installations and network infrastructure.
- A valid South African driver’s licence coupled with your own reliable transport.
- A foundational understanding of ISO 22000 and commercial food safety protocols.
- Basic working knowledge of safe stacking procedures and forklift operations.
